Once you have purchased a product license or requested a registered trial,
you will receive a 32-digit License Key. Licence keys allow you to use an online activation process to activate
a pre-purchased licence or registered product trial.
Activating a Product License
An internet connection is required to activate a product license. License activation can be carried out from the
"Activate License" dialog, which offers several options:

Activate License
Enter your license key and click the "Activate License" button. The application will connect with our License
Activation Server to activate the license key. This can take several seconds during which the status flashes
"Activating...". If connecting to the License Activation Server was unsuccessful, you are given the
choice of saving the license to a file to allow offline or manual activation. If you wish your license to be activated
offline or manually, visit our
our license activation page or send the license file to 3AM Solutions
by e-mail.
Install License From File
This button may be used to load a license which has been activated offline,
or retrieved from a backup.
Save License to File
Once a license has been installed, this button may be used to save the license
to an external file for archival or backup purposes. Backing up your license file provides the opportunity to
subsequently re-install the product without having to re-activate your license (for instance after an OS
re-install or hardware failure).
Deactivate License
This button deactivates the current product license on your system and returns it
to your license pool on our license activation server. This option may be used to port a license from one
computer to another. However, there is a preset limit to the number of times that a license may be deactivated,
and therefore ported between computers.

The key {...} is not a valid license key for this product.
The license key format varies between different releases of this product. Refer to your License Certificate to check
whether your License Key is valid for the installed version of this product.
Activation Error
Unable to connect to the License Activation Server via the internet to activate your license on this computer.
An internet connection to our License Activation Server is required in order to activate your license online. This error could either indicate that
your internet connection is not available or that there is a temporary outage with our License Activation Server. If you continue to see this error after repeated attempts
to activate your license, please use one of the offline license activation methods described above.
Licence File Path
The active Network License Service License File is stored in a fixed path within the All Users profile folder. This is usually: C:\ProgramData\3AM Solutions\Licensing\Network License Service for ProjectExplorer\3.0\License.lic
